Product details
Deciduous climber with tuberous roots. Stems twining. Leaves trifoliate, with ovate lobes. Dense axillary inflorescences. Flowers pea-like, small, scented, dark red in colour. North America. The tuberous roots, roundish and knobbly in shape, are edibles and have a good taste. They can be cooked like potatoes. Fresh soils. Hardy.
