Product details
~~Rhizomatous evergreen species, up to 50 cm high. Leaves sword-like, 8-12 mm wide. Branched inflorescences on winged stems, bearing numerous flowers in spring. Flowers 2 cm in diameter, intense blue in colour. Native to the SE Cape Province, Uganda and Cameroon. Half-hardy species, it prefers half-shaded exposures and deep humus-rich soils.
