Succulent species. Stems up to 60 cm long x 1.5-2 cm in diameter, typically articulate, blue-green spotted with grey. Leaves up to 5 cm long, 3- or 5-lobed, appearing only in the vegetative period (Winter). Resting period in Summer. Flowers white-yellowish in Winter. South Africa (Cape Province).
