~~Mexican species that makes small rosettes. Leaves up to 13 cm long, with longitudinal horny stripes and with a black apical thorn that is 15 mm long. Monocarpic. Inflorescences up to 4 m long, with reddish flowers. Well drained soil. Full sun or half shade exposure. No water in winter. Water every 15-20 days in summer.
