This bromeliad is native to: southern Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and northern Argentina. Leaves green, 30-70 cm long, narrow, curved at apex and slightly toothed along their margin. Inflorescence arched, with showy pink bracts and greenish-white flowers that are tipped with purple-blue. Drained soil and regular waterings. Shade or half shade. Not hardy.
